Note: the plasteboard partition must be built according to the instructions given by Padilla Fire Doors S.L. The structure of the partition must be consistently reinforced especially in both sides and crossbeam of the aperture where the door will be installed in order to reach a mechanical strength without impacting on the fire protection properties. To achieve these results, it is very important to use support profiles of a minimum thickness of 2 or 3 mm securely fixed to the door set frame. It also has to be ensured that the unit is firmly fixed to the floor, at the bottom, and into the ceiling at the head with fixings of sufficient strength to carry the loads into the primary structure, taking special attention when the height of the wall exceed 2.700mm.
