DESCRIPTION In case of sewer system, final discharge, the oil trap is designed as follows: NG = [(Qr) + (Qs) x (FQs)] x (Fd) Where Qr = rain water on paved surfaces Qs = polluted water coming, for example from car repair shops.The flow is determined on the basis of clea- ning machines FQs = density factor, ranging from 1 to 3, according to the specific weight of the pollutant minimum volume for sand storage is - 650 lt for flows up to 3 lt/s - 2500 lt for flows up to 10 lt/s - to be determined on the basis of specific coefficient for flows higher than 10 lt/s.
