Place it correctly according to the following figure. Open the leaf or remove it, to screw the frame onto the sub-frame with selftapping screws Ø 6,3x60 mm (¼ x 2”) DIN 7504P. It will bear 4 screws on each side jamb, whose position are marked by the bores on the frame. Level the frame vertically and horizontally. Remove the expanding joint (intumescent seal) from the frame and drill into the four bores of the frame to the sub-frame with a hand drill of Ø 5,25 mm (3/16”). Next attach the frame onto the sub-frame and put-back the expanding joint. Remove the corner fittings, unscrew the girder, tear off the tab on the nylon lock protector and close the leaf. Install the door handles and the door-closer according to the instructions attached to the doorset. Remove the expanding joint Tab of the lock protector Bottom rod bush Only Double Leaf Doors. VERY IMPORTANT: Install the bottom rod bush on the floor to fit the bottom rod and prevent door warping. Screw the U-Shaped lengthener to the Top U-Shaped Legs of the sub-frame with two Sheet metal screw Ø 4,2x13 mm ( 1/6 x ½”) DIN 7504N. Drive the sub-frame to the wall with the U-Shaped lengtheners fastened and level it both vertically and horizontally. Next, bring the U-Shaped profiles of 48 mm (1 7/8”) to the sides and top of the sub-frame and screw them to it using 7 screws on each side jamb and 5 on the lintel, use Sheet metal screws Ø 4,2x13 mm ( 1/6 x ½”) FST. Note: To allow the sub-frame to fit into the lintel, the U-Shaped profiles must be placed with a slack of 30 mm (1 1/6”) on each side taken from the cross-section of the sub-frame. Screw or fix the Top & the Bottom Anchoring Squares of the sub-frame to the ceiling and the floor accordingly using the recommended screws Ø 4,8x32 mm (3/16x1¼) DIN 798. Introduce the anchor-bush into the anchor-grip. Mind the position and path according to the figure below. Once the wall is dry, remove the girders and the corner fittings from the sub-frame. Seal the junction between the plasterboard and the sub-frame with gunning paste, cover the holes of the screw heads, etc. Cover the junctions between plates with paper and gunning paste. Place the other face of plasterboard liner. Introduce a layer of rock wool 23 mm ( 7/8”) between the U-Shaped profiles & the transoms. Place one side of the plasterboard liner wall on the metal rack. Use two layers of plasteboard (or similar) 15 mm (5/8”) thick and self tapping screws Ø 3,9x25 mm (5/32 x 1”) & Ø 3,9x45 mm (5/32 x 1¾”).. Fix the 48 mm (7/8”) U-Shaped profiles to the ceiling and the floor, then place the 46 mm vertical transoms . We recommend to use self tapping screws Ø 3,9x25 mm (5/32 x 1”).
